I’m based in the UK, and funnily enough, I grew up in a town once famous for its needle industry in the late 1800s and early 1900s. But it wasn’t just needles they made… crochet hooks too.
Maybe it was always meant to be!
Ever since I was a young girl, I’ve always been able to knit… but crochet?
That was a different story. I tried to learn several times over the years, but it just never quite clicked. Until one very specific day…
5th November 2023.
While fireworks lit up the night sky outside, something finally clicked for me too, and my love of crochet exploded just the same 💛
